The APRIVA Wireless point of sale terminal is an end-to-end wireless payment
processing terminal with everything today’s wireless merchants need
to get up and running on time and with ease! Merchants love the compact
mobile hardware, software, and wide area wireless network access they receive
with the Apriva Wireless terminal. The APRIVA point of sale device is built
on top of the proven APRIVA Talk wireless architecture, delivering reliable,
secure, and cost-efficient transaction processing with real-time reporting
and centralized management tools.
The solution includes a RIM BlackBerry 850/950, APRIVA M500 Magcard Reader,
APRIVA POS Software version 1.6, and wireless connectivity (Moteint's DataTAC
network for the 850 and Cingular's Mobitex network for the 950).
